"Ousise" the constant phrase I hear........ translation: "mom, I want to go outside". How can I say no? The weather is STUNNING and schools is almost out. Summer is finally here!!
Yesterday we had our first day in the pool (well, the plastic container we like to call a "pool"). Caleb has become a fish.
His little personality has begun to shine. Mark is no longer dada, but now "Mar". Aparently calling one of your parents by their first name is the new in thing to do when you are 18 months old. :)

Stir crazy for summer.
Memorial Day came and went. It seems like such a long wait for that 3 day weekend and it is over in a flash. Caleb enjoyed time up north with Uncle Ben, Cassie and Grandma and Grandpa. I think we are still catching up on sleep.
This week was filled with many "firsts". Caleb witnessed his first snake, which he called "bow wow", first squirrel which was yet again a "bow wow". I have come to learn this may be the new name for all animals. He has also learned how to push his mother's buttons by standing on our end table and switching the lights on and off. Who would think that seeing lights turn on and off could be that fun?
Looking forward to summer, almost here.....almost here........almost here.........

Memorial Day, blogging the memories....
Memorial Day, the kick off to summer. Heading up north to take Caleb on an adventure that he should hopefully remember more than last year. It amazes me to see the world through him, everything is so new and exciting....little boys truly are entertainment in themselves. This new blog, will be a way for family and friends to keep updated on the happenings of our little family.
"God made little boys it seems,
to answer every parents dreams.
For expectations are begun,
when He sends down a little son"
